This class introduces the attendees to basic concepts of data warehousing, explaining the who's,  what's, and why's of data warehousing.

 

This course is often added in addition to the Intro to DW and the Integration services class.  This course will help you design an enterprise environment for building your data warehouse.  We'll cover creating the processes to lead your project to success, including ETL Methodology, best practices, coding standards, testing structures, and working with business partners to deliever maximum value.

 

Introduction to SQL Server Integration Services (4 days) 

This class focuses on the SQL Server Intergration Services toolsuite.   This course covers an introduction to the tool, designing ETL flows, creating an enterprise work structure, and as time permits we move on to more advanced topics.  This class is typically taught in a hands-on environment with plenty of opportunity for workshops.  In addition, Durable Impact partners with leading providers of SSIS training for additional training in SSIS.  Please email us for more information. 

 

An entry level class, this course explains the basics behind data modeling and allows the students to practice solving real data modeling issues to demonstrate their mastery of the subject. 

 

 

 

All of our classes have professional training materials and handouts for each student to keep.  In addition, we provide each student with copies of industry leading books covering the session topic.  All of our course materials and extra books are included in the basic class fee.

 

We also support your learning with podcasts and web events that may be accessed prior to, during, and after the training to support continuous knowledge.  Each student receives unlimited access to all Durable Impact resources (relating to that specific subject area) for one (1) year after the completion of each class.  In addition, we provide discounts for students to grow their knowledge in other areas of data warehousing.
